Celal Bayar University was opened in 1992 in the city of Manisa, and its emblem symbolizes the tulip flower (anemones) symbolizing love, knowledge and development.
The university began providing its services through three institutions in the year of its establishment, namely the Higher Institute of Accountancy, the Youth Sports Academy and the Institute of Education. Now it includes 10 colleges, 5 secondary schools, 15 vocational schools, 3 institutes and 20 research centers.
