Erciyes University is one of the public universities that was established in 1978 under the name Kayseri University
1969 established the Faculty of Medicine affiliated with the University of Haji Tepe, and in 1977 the Faculty of Business Administration was established, and the Islamic Institute in Caesar was transformed in 1967 into the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Sharia, and the Academy of Architectural Engineering, established in 1977, was transformed into the Faculty of Engineering.
The university began providing its services under the name of Erciyes University in 1982. The university was named after Mount Erciyes, which has a height of more than 3916 meters and is located in the southwestern plateau, 15 km from the city of Kayseri.
