In 1992, as a result of the formation of 23 universities, Harran University was established (July 9, 1994, Law No.: 3837), and the previously mentioned schools were joined to this institution with two other branches (Branch of Fine Arts and Sciences and Branch of Medicine), and three institutions (Foundation of Science Natural and Applied Sciences, Foundation for Health Sciences, and Foundation for Social Sciences).
