Nevşehir Haji Bektaş Veli University was founded on May 17, 2007 under the name Nevşehir Haji Bektaş Veli University. Then the name of the university was changed to Nevşehir Haji Bektaş Veli University under Law No. 6501 published in the Official Gazette on November 7, 2013. Various campuses, with 9 faculties, 9 vocational schools, 2 schools, 4 institutes and 16 research and application centers.
