Malatya Turgut Özal University (MTÜ) was established on May 18, 2018, in memory of the late President Turgut Özal, the great statesman and politician who grew up in the city of Malatya. It includes 6 colleges, 2 schools, 1 institute and 9 vocational schools, in addition to 10 separate training and research centers, and 8 different campuses.
Malatya Turgut Ozal University aims to be an international university that reaches global values without leaving local values, and carries local values to global values. The primary goal of the university is to integrate with the city, the region and the community in which we live and to serve the community in every sense of the word.
