The beginning of the university was in Istanbul, where it was founded on July 11, 1992, and on December 3, 1993, the university was transferred to the city of Gebze in the Marmara Sea region, and it is one of the technical research universities that pays great attention to graduating specialized researchers. Prof. Khaluk Gorgon and his assistants are Professor Ali Ata and Prof. Babur Özçelek, President of the University. As of the date of November 22, 2014, the university has become in one headquarters only in the Chapirova region. The area of the university is currently 1,370,070 square meters and a covered area is estimated at 26.612 square meters.
