Suzhou Imam University was established in Kahramanmaraş on July 11, 1992, and it is one of the Turkish public universities.
Prof. Dr. Darmesh Dawaji and his assistants, Prof. Ramadan Gonash Agar, Prof. Ismaaib Bakan, and Prof. Fatih Kelly hold the position of the university's president.
The number of students at the university is currently about 17,785 male and female students, and the number of faculty members is 2808 teachers. The university includes 12 colleges, 3 institutes, 5 institutes of higher education, 9 institutes of higher vocational education, and 15 application and research centers.
